Virgin Galactic The First Ten Years

Tuesday 10/6/15, time 9:03 PM

Erik Seedhause has written a book of the 10 first year of Virgin Galactic. The book name is Virgin Galactic The First Ten Years. The book tells why going into space is so difficult and why Virgin Galactic schedule has repeatedly gone ahead. In 2005, Virgin Galactic estimated that the first space flight would take place in 2008. The first 100 space tickets were sold in 2005.
The biggest delays have been because of accidents in 2007 and 2014, which killed four people. Going into space has always been dangerous. NASA estimated that 1/65 of shuttle flights will fail. And so happened. To climb or try to climb to Mount Everest, however, is even more dangerous.

I have been in the queue for 5.5 years and I have not thought of giving up the ticket. After all this waiting for space flight tastes even better! It would have been boring if I would have flown into space as early as 2012!
